The Unlimited Lifestyle?

Media… lets just say it rules and consumes us to consume. Ask your wallet any fun with media doesn’t come free. I guess this is where I hear some peoples excuses who pirate on as to why they pirate. Games, Music, Movies, Software. I have never been one to pirate, its not my thing. If there is a movie I want to watch, we NEVER go to the movies, its too spensive. 2 Tickets, Pop Corn, Soda.. your down 30 bucks minimum and what about dinner? I have more fun going out to eat with that $30 and we get to chat away. So what if we live together, its how we roll lol.

Well my PS3 allows me to stream Netflix for $9 a month which includes 1 phyiscal dvd out at all times. In a means to interact more at home we decided we need to watch a movie or two a week because TV bores me. But get a good fun family or fantasy flick and I could watch it. So we signed up for Netflix Friday night. And the queue said I should have the new Transformers today. NICE!

I also forgot about my Gamefly Membership. $15 bucks a month and I get any video game I want at a time as well. Considering there are still quite a few I want to play, Definately keeping this. I finally blew through my Bday video game money and got a bunch. But still a gamers life is never fulfilled lol.

My music the family shares Rhapsody. $7.50 each house (ours and moms) and we get unlimited music pretty much anywhere. At work is where I listen to it the the most. In the car, pop it on my phone and plug it into the stero and were golden. Rhapsody is king for me. Keeps me listening to whatever I like.

Hmmm so $31.50 a month I get all the media we could use to enterain us. It really isn’t bad when I think about it. A little crazy when I think about it though lol. Is it really necessary? UM HELL YEAH~! hahahaha… Wee me! TGIM!

The Dinnerisms

So I started this new and hopefully will stick dinner plan. I get my recipes ready and go to town at the grocery store grocery list and all. So instead of the junk I normally eat, Im cooking junk lol. Well in general the idea is to cook and have some leftovers so its a savings all around. Tuesday I made a roast chicken, some mashed tatters and some asparagus. Last night I made a Tomatoe Bisque soup and some roast eggplant. The Bisque soup though was a fatty affair. Oh lordie… but soooo good lol. Tonight I think Ill make a roast.. hahaha.. these phases come and go, but I am hoping I can stick to my guns and eat decent meals with some leftovers for the next day, which will save on the pocketbook and in the end avoid the fast food I normally eat. Ill find the balance of what works for me thats for sure.

And I am a healthy chicken ta boot!

Go figure! I went to the dr for my final heart tests and what do you know. I am a healthy spud all around. The only thing I need to do is loose weight, which I know and now that I have some clarity there, I am ON IT! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM A HEALTHY SPUD! WEEEE!!
